Two narrow
gauge boxcars repose on a Round Valley ranch (NW of Bishop,
CA), survivors from the old Southern Pacific narrow gauge
Owens Valley Branch (ex - Carson & Colorado Railroad). After
the line was abandoned and scraped in 1960, many of the
boxcars ended up advertised in the area newspapers as for
sale, they proved popular as storage sheds. 14,242 foot
high White Mountain Peak dominates the background. The twelve
and thirteen thousand foot peaks of the Sierra Nevada are
immediately to the photographer's back. April 1998.

Laws

My truck

before construction teams of the Carson & Colorado Railroad
came this way in 1882. July 1997.
